It is a sailing ship, but mainly the engine is used. When weather conditions permit, it is also sailed.

Join inventia on this breathtaking journey through the majestic Scoresby Sund on Greenland's east coast—the world's largest fjord system and a true natural wonder.

Over 350 kilometers long, the sound impresses with enormous icebergs, rugged rock formations, and a rich wildlife —from icebergs to musk oxen and arctic foxes to seals and whales.

Our group tour takes you right into the heart of this Arctic landscape, where you can observe the Northern Lights, explore icebergs in Zodiacs, and learn about Inuit culture in Ittoqqortoormiit.

We will travel through the Arctic in much the same way as the first explorers did: the historic three-masted schooner Rembrandt van Rijn will be our base during this extraordinary journey. It was built around 95 years ago for fishing in the Netherlands and has been lovingly restored and modernized with great attention to detail.

The cabins are cozy and functionally furnished, ideal for travelers who appreciate comfort in an authentic setting.

The atmosphere on board is personal and relaxed, characterized by the small group of 33 guests and the dedicated crew.

While dining together in the warm ship's mess, guests share their experiences as the Arctic landscape passes by outside.

The crew and experienced nature guides are always on hand to prepare you for Zodiac excursions to the impressive icebergs or for observing Arctic wildlife.

The Rembrandt van Rijn offers you an intimate, family-like travel experience where you feel well cared for and free at the same time – an ideal basis for unforgettable experiences in the Arctic.
