1. Package tours from inventia

Package tours are protected by law and the terms and conditions are clearly regulated.
Please refer to our ARB for rebooking and cancellation fees.
As a tour operator, inventia is your contractual partner.
The final price includes all services contained in the tour price. The ARB (General Terms and Conditions of Travel) of inventia apply.

Preparation:
Complex trips (at least 5 services): An initial rough quote without checking availability is free of charge.
For new customers only (not for regular customers): For a specific quote including price and availability checks, we charge €150.00, which we will offset against the trip price when you book.

Travel management: Service included

Rebookings: in accordance with ARB inventia, service included

Cancellations: in accordance with ARB inventia, service included

2. Package tours by third-party operators

Package tours are protected by law and the terms and conditions are clearly regulated.
Please refer to the terms and conditions of the specified tour operator, which we will provide you with before booking, for rebooking and cancellation fees.
Your contractual partner is the specified tour operator. inventia is an agent.
The final price includes all services included in the tour price. The terms and conditions of the specified tour operator apply.

3. Hotel-only bookings

We offer hotels on the following flexible terms:

Basic price: Very affordable, non-cancellable, 100% payment upon booking
Flex price: Affordable, cancellable with cancellation fees, 25% payment upon booking, 75% payment up to 30 days before arrival
VIP price: Good price, free cancellation until the specified date, 100% payment until the first cancellation deadline.

Rebookings:
If the travel price increases as a result of the rebooking, we will not charge a service fee.
If the travel price decreases, we will charge a service fee of €25.00 plus VAT per transaction.

Cancellations:according to cancellation policy, no additional service fee.

inventia is a tour operator. Hotel bookings are treated as individual services. Together with other services (flights, rental cars, etc.), they are treated as linked travel arrangements.

4. Airline tickets

The price we quote you for your flight ticket is the final price. This includes all taxes and fees as well as our service fee.

inventia acts as an agent for airline tickets. The terms and conditions of the issuing airline, which is also your contractual partner, apply.

The service fee included in the ticket price is non-refundable.

For business and first-class flights
– within Europe €100.00 per person
– outside Europe €120.00 per person

We do not offer domestic German airline tickets; we recommend traveling with Deutsche Bahn.

The sale of airline tickets has become a very complex and labor-intensive business, not only since the coronavirus pandemic. Since August 1, 2020, we have been charging the following service fee:

Changes, inquiries, rebookings, cancellations, and refund requests: €25.00 plus VAT per ticket and transaction.

Changes, rebookings, and cancellations are carried out in accordance with the fare conditions, which may result in additional costs from the airline. Regular customers and business and first-class tickets are exempt from the service fee.

The service fee is charged regardless of whether the expense/request was initiated by the customer or the airline. You will receive the invoice for the flat-rate fee immediately after your departure. It must be paid within 14 days of receipt.

Flight tickets alone are treated as individual services. Together with other services (hotel, rental car, etc.), they are treated as linked travel arrangements.

NEW since August 1, 2020: Our flight tickets no longer include insolvency insurance. The insurer has discontinued this service due to the increased risk of insolvency among airlines as a result of the coronavirus crisis.

– Special services for airline tickets

We will arrange/book special services on your behalf. The purchase contract is concluded between you and the airline.
We are not liable for the proper execution and implementation. Cancellations often require additional effort.
The airline's terms and conditions apply.

We charge the following service fee per transaction:

Seat reservation on the day of booking – free service
Seat reservation – subsequently – €15.00 plus VAT per person/route
Special reservation – meals, etc. on the day of booking Special reservation – meals, etc. – retrospectively – €15.00 plus VAT per person/route
Registration of special, excess, and sports baggage: €15.00 plus VAT per person/route
Registration of special, excess, and special baggage – retrospectively – €15.00 plus VAT per person/route
Registration of unaccompanied children and special transport: €15.00 plus VAT per person/route
Registration of wheelchairs, transfer aids, and disabled persons: free service

We reject the organization of animal transports.

Changes, rebookings, and cancellations are carried out in accordance with the fare conditions, which may result in additional costs from the airline.

5. Arranging ferry crossings – worldwide –

Arrangement of ferry crossings.
Your contractual partner is the ferry company. inventia is an agent.

The following service fee applies to ferry ticket bookings:

€45.00 plus VAT per ticket
plus €20.00 plus VAT per car

For rebookings, subsequent changes, and cancellations:
€25.00 plus VAT per transaction

Changes, rebookings, and cancellations are carried out in accordance with the fare conditions, which may result in additional costs being charged by the ferry company.

The arrangement of ferry passages is treated as an individual service. Together with other services (flight, hotel, rental car, etc.), it is treated as a combined travel service.

6. Related travel services

The final prices for each individual service apply.

Each service is invoiced individually with different booking numbers and has its own terms and conditions. Each service is also assessed individually from a legal perspective.

Cancellations and rebookings by the customer:In addition to the cancellation or rebooking fees charged by the tour operator(s), inventiacharges a service fee of 5% of the canceled final travel price or, in the case of rebookings, €25.00 per person/service for rebookings.
When choosing your travel insurance, please use providers that also reimburse service fees.

Cancellation by the provider: The entire travel amount will be refunded. inventia will charge the customer a flat fee of 5% of the canceled travel price, which must be paid by the customer directly to inventia upon receipt of the invoice.

7. Other services

Advising online bookers on problems with online travel portals, tour operators, airlines, hotels, and foreign contracts

Travel costs up to €1,000 – €50 plus VAT per transaction

Travel price up to €2,500 – €100 plus VAT per transaction

Travel costs up to €5,000 – €150 plus VAT per transaction

Travel price up to €7,500 – €200 plus VAT per transaction

Travel costs up to €10,000 – €250 plus VAT per transaction

Travel price from €10,001 – €300 plus VAT per transaction

After submitting your request, you will receive an invoice for the above-mentioned service fee. As soon as the amount has been credited to my account, I will begin my evaluation. This includes an assessment of your travel contract and a recommendation for action. My assessment does not replace legal advice from an experienced travel lawyer.
