Our Job Openings

inventia Journeys | Beyond ordinary is an owner-operated boutique tour operator based in Essen—in the most beautiful part of the Ruhr region in the world and very close to Lake Baldeney.

Since 2002, we have been creating extraordinary trips for people who want to experience the world in a deep and meaningful way, off the beaten path. We specialize in expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctica, worldwide cruise expeditions on small ships, and unique nature and private trips to select lodges.

Our clients are internationally experienced, discerning, and value personalized advice as well as meticulous organization. We provide a high level of service throughout their travels—before, during, and after their trip. To do so, we combine in-depth knowledge of countries and products with modern digital workflows and communication channels.

Many of our guests entrust us with planning their trips several times a year. For us, that’s the greatest compliment—and at the same time, our mission: to create trips that go far beyond the ordinary. “Beyond ordinary,” as it were.
