inventia | Travel beyond the ordinary is a boutique tour operator for once-in-a-lifetime global travel experiences. We are based in the most beautiful part of the Ruhr region, in the city of Essen, close to Lake Baldeney. A particular focus of our trips is on expeditions to the Arctic and Antarctic.

Due to our positive development, we are looking for a project manager for content creation and maintenance as well as marketing for our polar expeditions (Arctic and Antarctic).
These are your responsibilities:
- You are passionate about polar expeditions and already have professional experience in this field. Our polar expeditions include
- Ship expeditions in the Antarctic and Arctic (Spitsbergen, Greenland, Canadian Arctic, East-West Passage, Hudson Bay, North Pole),
- Flight expeditions to the South Pole and the emperor penguin colonies
- Northern Lights tours throughout the Arctic
- You create websites featuring new Arctic and Antarctic voyages (texts provided by the shipping companies) in WordPress, including texts, image editing, and SEO, and optimize them continuously.
- They create overview pages with travel offers such as expeditions, cruises, and new ships, and update them regularly.
- You independently create wiki articles on topics related to the Arctic and Antarctic.
- You prepare newsletters in Active Campaign.
- You will expand our Antarctic mini-guide and develop a guide for the Arctic.
- At the change of season, check the new travel dates provided by the shipping companies and compare them with the existing trips. Transfer any changes and new data to the existing pages.
- You implement current marketing campaigns, e.g., trip of the month, inventia pioneer trips, etc.
- They provide support for presentations and sales campaigns.
- You will work with us to develop a social media strategy and implement activities on the selected platforms. In doing so, you will make creative use of the appropriate post formats.
- You create and send welcome packages to customers when they make new bookings and prepare travel documents.
- They accompany and support me during presentations and exhibitions and prepare documents for these events.
What you should bring with you:
- You have a high level of digital competence for working from home.
- You have a strong affinity for high-quality travel and excellent, unconventional customer service.
- An interest in the Arctic and Antarctic as travel destinations is a prerequisite for this position.
- After a training period, you will be able to manage the entire Antarctic project, e.g.:
- Ensure that trips and templates are up to date
- Maintain contact with shipping companies
- Write new texts about the Arctic and Antarctic or have them written
- Implement daily marketing measures on social media (including graphic design)
- Create newsletters regularly
- You write confidently in the inventia style.
- You have a very good command of German spelling and punctuation at native speaker level.
- You are a WordPress professional / Divi themeand implement all activities related to Antarctica on my website.
- You transfer travel data to an Excel list, regularly check expired trips, and update the new data in a timely manner.
- You can use the following WordPress plugins without any problems: Thrive products, Active Campaign, Yoast, Content Views, Contact Form 7
- You are familiar with the copyrights and usage rights, e.g., for images/photos/videos, image credits, image SEO, and you can take them into account accordingly.
- You should have a thorough understanding of image editing (size correction, etc.) and possess graphic design skills.
- You are experienced in using popular social media channels: Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google My Business, Xing, Pinterest, etc., and their various types of posts.
- You are proficient in SEO (YOAST) and implement the necessary online and offline measures on my website.
- You speak and write English very well and can translate English text into German.
- You work in a focused and very careful manner, check your own work, and strive to achieve complete and error-free results.
- You have the ability to think outside the box in your work and to make meaningful suggestions for improvement.
- An independent and, above all, responsible approach to work, as well as uncompromising adherence to internal deadlines, is crucial to our successful collaboration.
- Since we work with the project management tool Asana, you will need to create an Asana profile.
The collaboration also requires a separate office in your home that is exclusively available for your professional activities and is equipped accordingly. Your place of residence and permanent residence must be in Germany.

Freelancers (m/f/d) for content creation for our website
I am looking for several freelancers to create and maintain content for our website.
You create pages with travel offers such as cruises, round trips, hotels, cruise ships, and expedition ships for my websitewww.inventia.de.
To this end, we provide you with travel descriptions as website links or PDF files, which you transcribe into a template in the dashboard. You transfer texts, itineraries, dates, and prices into the specified fields and know how to adhere to the text formatting. I provide you with sources for photos and videos; if necessary, you also research these yourself and format the files so that they can be uploaded and processed in the media library. You also prepare Yoast entries.
The trips and texts are predetermined and are developed in accordance with linguistic and stylistic guidelines, and the content is inserted based on a task list. A deep understanding of high-quality travel and the structure of travel advertisements is a must. We expect confident writing skills, the ability to think outside the box, and high-quality results.

Freelance work is a long-term commitment.
Here's how it works: You receive a request with all the information about the website to be created via Asana and have 24 hours to accept or decline the job. You then create the pages by the specified deadline, which is usually around one week or longer. On average, you create at least one to two websites per week (depending on your available time). The deadline for submitting the print-ready page is always Tuesdays or Thursdays.
