The highlights of the most beautiful national parks in Patagonia
Day 1: Punta Arenas – Puerto Natales
You will be met at the airport by a local tour guide, who will inform you about the program for the next few days. You will then travel to Puerto Natales by public bus (without a tour guide). A transfer will take you to your hotel (without a tour guide).
Day 2: Balmaceda & Serrano Glacier
During a boat trip to the Balmaceda and Serrano glaciers, you will see southern beech forests, cormorants, and, with a little luck, seals. The ship slowly approaches the impressive Balmaceda Glacier, which pushes downhill from the summit of Cerro Balmaceda (2,250 m). A little further on, the boat docks and you take a short hike through a southern beech forest to a lagoon with a beautiful view of the Serrano Glacier. The tour continues to Estancia Perales, where a typical Patagonian lunch awaits you before returning to Puerto Natales. B/L
Day 3: Torres del Paine National Park
Today, you will head to Torres del Paine National Park early in the morning. Your guide will take you on an extensive tour of the entire park, offering magnificent views of the Torres peaks and the Torres massif, Lago Grey, and the Grey Glacier, combined with shorter hikes. Afterwards, you will return to Puerto Natales. B/LB
Day 4: Puerto Natales – El Calafate
A transfer will take you to the bus terminal, where you will board a bus to El Calafate in Argentina. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to your hotel (full day without RL). F
Day 5: Perito Moreno Glacier
Today you will travel to the famous Perito Moreno Glacier. You can marvel at this gigantic natural wonder from various viewing platforms. Experience how icebergs as tall as houses crash loudly into Lake Argentino. F
Day 6: El Calafate
After breakfast, a transfer (without RL) will take you to the airport. F
Optional extension
Day 6: El Calafate – Punta Arenas
A transfer will take you to the bus station. You will take the regular bus to Puerto Natales, change there, and continue by bus to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival, a transfer will take you to your accommodation (full day without guide). F
Day 7: Punta Arenas
A shuttle will take you to the airport (without RL). F
