Wild Necker
Necker Island is home to a wide variety of animals. During walks on the island, you will encounter lemurs, scarlet ibises, giant tortoises, iguanas, and many other species. One of the highlights is the island's own flamingo beach, where numerous colorful birds live.

Take advantage of the crystal-clear water for the numerous water activities included in your stay:
Kitesurfing: On Necker Island, both beginners and advanced kitesurfers have the opportunity to learn kitesurfing or improve their skills in a course. Afterwards, it's off to the water to put your new skills into practice.
Water skiing and wakeboarding: The best place for wakeboarding and water skiing is at Prickly Pear Island, just a 5-minute boat ride from Necker Island. Lessons are available for both beginners and advanced skiers. Water skis and wakeboards are provided.
Sailing: The Necker Island team offers sailing lessons for beginners and advanced sailors. In addition, a sailing regatta with several boats can be organized around the islands, either steered by guests or by the team.
Stand-up paddleboarding: Start on your knees to learn the paddling technique, and within five minutes you'll be standing up like a pro. Necker Island has a range of paddleboards in various sizes. Riders of all ages are welcome.
Subwing: Subwinging allows you to experience the ocean in a whole new way. While holding onto a board, you are slowly pulled behind a boat, allowing you to discover the underwater world – a real adventure!
Snorkeling: Snorkeling is an excellent way to discover the underwater world. The best places for this are Turtle Beach and Main Beach. For those who want to venture further out, we can take you on our boat and show you our favorite spots.
Diving: The waters around the British Virgin Islands offer a wide range of opportunities to explore the underwater world in a single dive. Wreck, reef, and night dives can be arranged. If you are already PADI certified, we can arrange a number of excursions. If you are not yet certified, we even offer diving courses*.

Boat trips:
Discover the world beyond Necker Island and join us on an unforgettable half-day excursion to the British Virgin Islands. This is included in the price (availability depends on weather conditions).
Along the way, you will explore, among other things:
The baths: An impressive collection of huge granite blocks that form hidden rock pools. This place is truly impressive!
Anegada: Located just 12 miles northwest of Necker, Anegada is home to the world's third-largest barrier reef and 17 miles of beaches.
If you want to experience the British Virgin Islands in true party style, we also stop at some of the well-known bars during the cruise, such as the Soggy Dollar Bar with its "Painkiller" cocktails and Willy T's boat bar.

Beach Olympics:
No trip to Necker Island is complete without a game of beach Olympics! All you have to do is register your group, and the Necker Island team will take care of the rest...
Examples of activities at the Beach Olympics:
Dizzy sticks: This is a relay race. One member from each team runs along the track, turns around a flag five times, and then runs back to the starting line, whereupon it is the next teammate's turn.
SUP: We place the stand-up paddleboards on the beach and then we're ready to go. The first team to dig a tunnel under the board and get all team members to the other side wins.
Driving Range: This is a simple golf game. Hit the fish-friendly balls from the putting green until you get closer to the target on the other side of the beach.
Blindfolded kayak race: This is a race in the pool. The kayaker is blindfolded and must rely on his team to guide him through the pool.
Champagne diving: Champagne bottles are hidden in our main pool. Everyone jumps in and the team that comes back with the most bottles is crowned the winner (and gets to drink the previously chilled champagne)!
Amazing Race: The Necker Island team can organize your very own Necker-style Amazing Race while you are on the island! Activities can include photo contests, sumo suit tosses, "anything that floats" races, champagne swimming, and more.

Good to know
Exclusive use: If you would like to have the island all to yourself, it is possible to rent Necker Island exclusively.
Small groups: For small groups, Necker Island can be booked on a non-exclusive basis and shared with other guests from June to October. A minimum of 10 rooms is required.
Celebration Weeks: Throughout the year, there are selected weeks when you can rent just one room or a few rooms in your own private Balinese house—we call these weeks "Celebration Weeks."
