MS Heritage Adventurer

Pioneering expedition ship with a special history

MS Heritage Adventurer

The grande dame of expedition cruises

The Heritage Adventurer is a true pioneer expedition ship. Due to its famous history and elegant design, it is often referred to as the "grande dame of expedition cruises."It was built in 1991 at the Rauma shipyard in Finland specifically for polar expeditions.

With its outstanding standard for authentic expedition experiences, the Heritage Adventurer (formerly MS Hanseatic) combines the highest ice class for passenger ships (1A Super) with an impressive history of polar exploration.

It holds records for the northernmost and southernmost Arctic and Antarctic voyages, as well as for crossing the Northwest and Northeast Passages. This makes it the perfect choice for pioneering expeditions specializing in adventure-oriented travel in New Zealand.

Originally designed for 184 guests, the Heritage Adventurer now accommodates only 140 passengers, ensuring spacious, stylish, and comfortable travel. A fleet of 14 Zodiacs ensures that all guests can fully enjoy their expedition experience.
