Sunrise Waterfront En suite Tent:
The Sunrise Waterfront En Suite tents face the rising sun and offer beautiful views of the bay and the ever-changing tidal landscapes of Clayoquot Sound. With a California king-size bed and a double sofa bed, they can accommodate up to four guests. The tent's bathroom has underfloor heating, two sinks, a toilet, and its own outdoor cedar shower. The tents have a private terrace.
Outpost Waterfront En suite Tent:
The Outpost Waterfront En Suite tents are located on a quiet side channel of the Bedwell River at the edge of the rainforest. The tent can accommodate up to four guests. With a California king-size bed and a double sofa bed, there is room for up to four people. The tent's bathroom has underfloor heating, two sinks, a toilet, and its own outdoor cedar shower. The tents have a private terrace.
Romantic Hillside En suite Tent:
The Romantic Hillside En suite tent is located on a hillside in the rainforest and offers breathtaking views of the river mouth, as well as a private ofuro bathtub on the terrace. With a California king-size bed and a double sofa bed, this tent can accommodate up to four guests. The en suite bathroom has underfloor heating, two sinks, a toilet, and its own outdoor cedar wood shower.
Rainforest en suite tent:
The two Rainforest En Suite tents are located in the rainforest opposite the Outpost Waterfront tents. With a California king-size bed and a double sofa bed, they can accommodate 4 people. The private bathroom has underfloor heating, two sinks, a toilet, and a private outdoor cedar wood shower.
Romantic Hillside Deluxe Tent:
The Romantic Hillside Deluxe Tent is located on a hillside overlooking the river mouth and features a private ofuro bathtub on the terrace. It offers a comfortable king-size bed and a double sofa bed, accommodating up to 4 guests. A separate private bathroom is located just a few steps outside the tent and features a toilet, sink, and shower.
Sunrise Waterfront Deluxe Tent:
The Sunrise Waterfront Deluxe Tent is located on the banks of the river mouth and offers views of the rising sun, a private terrace, and breathtaking views. It features two single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed and a double sofa bed. This tent is often booked for relatives or children, in combination with the adjacent waterfront tent.
A private bathroom is located just steps outside the tent and features a toilet, sink, and shower. This tent can accommodate up to four guests.
Hillside and Rainforest Deluxe tents:
The Hillside and Rainforest Deluxe tents are equipped with a king-size bed, a double sofa bed, and a separate bathroom located just a few steps outside the tent. The tent can accommodate up to four guests. The two Rainforest Deluxe tents are located in the forest, opposite the beach promenade of the Outpost Waterfront En Suite tents. The Hillside Deluxe tent welcomes you with a beautiful unobstructed sea view. A separate bathroom is located just a few steps outside the tent and has a toilet, sink, and shower.
Hillside family tent:
The large family tent consists of two tents next to each other. They are located on a hill in the rainforest with a view of the river mouth. A maximum of eight guests can stay here. One side is equipped with a California king-size bed and a double sofa bed, the other side with two single beds that can be converted into a king-size bed and a double sofa bed.
The en suite bathroom on the king-size side has two sinks, a toilet, and an outdoor shower, and the en suite bathroom on the other side has two sinks, a toilet, an outdoor shower, and an indoor bathtub. You can also use the private outdoor terrace for relaxation.

The Cookhouse Dining Room
This exquisite, large wooden building serves as the resort's main restaurant and features an open kitchen bar, floor-to-ceiling windows, a wraparound deck, and a popular lounge area with a fireplace that creates a cozy atmosphere.
You can enjoy all-inclusive dining with all gourmet meals, including snacks, wines, beer, and spirits.
Invanhoe Glass Lounge Bar
A beautiful glass lounge bar with tall, floor-to-ceiling windows and breathtaking views of the Bedwell River estuary, which flows into the Pacific Ocean. Here you can linger by the fire with homemade cocktails and possibly catch a glimpse of bears, otters, or seals. On the roof, a lounge offers a gas fire pit and lounge chairs for relaxing.
Lounge & Dining Tents (Bistro)
Directly in front of the cookhouse are the dining tents, located in unique settings for special celebrations and private meals.
Activities/games/billiards/reading/business center tent
In the activities tent, oversized sofas and chairs invite you to relax, read, and chat. A billiards tent offers entertainment for children and families during the day and becomes a meeting place for billiards players in the evening.
Healing Grounds Spa
At Healing Grounds Spa, you can experience physical and spiritual healing and rejuvenation treatments. It offers indoor and outdoor treatment rooms, a yoga/meditation room, a waterfront massage tent, cedar hot tubs, saunas, and an open-air lounge.
A wide range of massages and treatments are offered, such as Thai, Amma, and hot stone massages, energy work, firming facial and body treatments, and nail care.

For active guests, there is a kilometer-long running track along the water and a modern Technogym facility.

The Bedwell River, near the camp, is an ideal place to practice fishing. Other rivers, such as the Megin and Cypre, can be reached by helicopter. You can fish for cutthroat and rainbow trout in beautiful lakes surrounded by mountains.

The Bell Jet Rangers from Clayoquot Wilderness Resort will take you to all locations around the sound. Choose fromheli-sightseeing, heli-dining, a heli-nature conservation excursion, heli-adventures on a cloudy day, yoga, hiking, kayaking/stand-up paddleboarding, ziplining, and fly fishing. Enjoy views from a completely different perspective and experience unique activities by helicopter.
nature conservation projects
In 2018, Clayoquot Wilderness Resort launched the Coastal Ambassador Program in collaboration with Clayoquot Cleanup. You can travel by boat or helicopter to more distant and remote islands in Clayoquot Sound and help clean up marine plastics and debris that wash ashore. The goal is to preserve important breeding, nesting, and feeding areas for biodiversity.

If you are new to meditation, there is no better place to start practicing and exploring the healing benefits of silence. The guided meditation classes, offered daily at 6:45 a.m. free of charge, will help you settle down internally, calm your busy mind, and connect with your breath.

All resort packages include a 60-minute full-body relaxation massage. There is also a wide range of popular and innovative massages and treatments, including Thai, Amma, and hot stone massages, energy work, firming facial and body treatments, and nail care.

location
The fastest way to reach your destination is from Vancouver International Airport. From there, it's a 45-minute flight by seaplane directly to the resort's dock. Seair Seaplanes flies single-engine seaplanes with 5, 7, or 9 seats. You can also book a private charter plane.
Alternatively, fly to Tofino Airport and take a 40-minute boat ride to the resort.
The Clayoquot Wilderness Resort is located in a remote location 30 km outside of Tofino on the west coast of Vancouver Island in the province of British Columbia, Canada. It is situated at the northeastern end of an 11-kilometer-long deep-sea fjord, where the Pacific Ocean meets the Bedwell River. The resort can only be reached by seaplane, helicopter, or boat.
