MS FRAM
The agile and robust expedition ship
The original Fram was one of the most famous expedition ships of its time. From 1893 to 1912, Norwegian explorers Fridtjof Nansen and Roald Amundsen used the Fram for their Arctic and Antarctic expeditions. The ship is designed down to the last detail to navigate the icy seas with confidence, even under the most difficult conditions. MS Fram is not just a ship name with a great tradition of exploration. It is also a promise that your expedition will be an unforgettable experience.
The spacious outdoor decks and panoramic lounge offer plenty of space for fantastic wildlife and nature viewing. Even in the fitness room, you can enjoy panoramic views of the incredible landscape. The sauna and two whirlpools on deck invite you to linger. Lectures are held in the Fram Science Center. A wide selection of comfortable cabins also awaits you on board.
High-quality Polarcirkel boats are available to make your expedition experience perfect. They offer greater comfort and stability as well as additional space and safety, and transport you comfortably to the exploration sites.
