Cabin romance with wilderness action | Canada
Even the journey to the wilderness resort is an experience in itself, as it is not connected to the road network: a private charter seaplane(or alternatively a ferry) will take you on a spectacular panoramic flight over the rugged coastline of Vancouver Island to this wilderness lodge resort in the heart of unspoiled nature.
Nestled in the dense forests of the Great Bear Rainforest, the nine cozy wooden cabins are located right on the water and leave nothing to be desired:
In the evening, sit back on the terrace with a glass of wine and let your gaze wander over the wild coastline of the Pacific Ocean as the sun sets in complete silence.
Relax with a massage or in the warm outdoor whirlpool.
Another highlight is your daily program: fly by helicopter to the highlights of the area, including a 10,000-year-old glacier, remote waterfalls and small islands, snow-capped mountain peaks, and white sandy beaches.
The surrounding Great Bear Rainforest covers 6.4 million hectares and is part of the largest temperate coastal rainforest region in the world. It is the perfect place to observe bears, whales, dolphins, grizzly bears, and many other wild animals.
With heli-fishing, a helicopter takes you to particularly remote rivers that are filled with Pacific salmon. A true angler's dream.
In the evening, a delicious gourmet dinner with regional specialties fresh from the day's catch awaits you.
Open from May to November.
