Your arrival on Baltra Island and departure from Santa Cruz Island are not included in your tour price.
Since our customers all have individual wishes for their trip, we are happy to book flights separately. Of course, the flights then become part of a secure package tour. Before flying to Baltra Island (Seymour Airport) on day 1 of this trip, we recommend spending the night in Quito or Guayaquil to cushion any irregularities with your international flight or lost luggage. Day 1: Embarkation on Baltra Island and visit to Bahia Borrero
Upon arrival in Baltra, you will receive a warm welcome. A short transfer will take you across the island to the harbor, where the Aqua Mare, the first 50-meter superyacht in the Galápagos archipelago, awaits you. The crew will also welcome you aboard with great warmth. After a delicious lunch, you will receive your individually customized snorkeling equipment.
Your first discovery tour begins in the afternoon: you will visit the idyllic white sandy beach of Bahía Borrero in the north of Santa Cruz. With a little luck, you will encounter Darwin's famous finches, which live in the typical coastal vegetation. Those who prefer to go into the sea can observe sea turtles while snorkeling. After all , the beach is one of their most important breeding grounds in the Galápagos Islands.
In the evening, return on board and round off the day with an exclusive dinner featuring Nikkei cuisine —lovingly prepared by Pedro Miguel Schiaffino, your award-winning chef with an international reputation.
Day 2: El Barranco & Bahía Darwin, Genovesa Island
This morning, you will wake up north of the equator and start the day with a trip to the coral beaches of Bahía Darwin. This idyllic bay is perfect for relaxing coastal walks and snorkeling in the clear water.
After a first-class lunch on board, your journey continues to the remote island of Genovesa. There, you will glide along the dramatic rock formations of El Barranco in a dinghy – and with a little luck, you will spot Galápagos fur seals sheltering from the sun in the cool crevices of the lava coast.
A circular trail approximately 1.5 kilometers long then takes you through a fascinating lava landscape. Along the way, you will encounter red-footed boobies, majestic frigatebirds, and agile Galápagos storm petrels frolicking among the rocks.
In the evening, enjoy an exclusive movie screening in the private cinema on the lower deck – choose between the impressive documentary "Planet Earth: Galápagos" or the epic adventure film "Master and Commander." Alternatively, relax and unwind under the sparkling starry sky on the sun deck as the day draws to a close.
Day 3: Sullivan Bay, Santiago Island & Sombrero Chino Island
Start the day actively—with an early workout or guided meditation on the sun deck—before refueling with a balanced breakfast. Your first discovery tour takes you to the island of Santiago, where you will explore the impressive, wave-like pahoehoe lava flows at Bahía Sullivan during a shore excursion—a fascinating testament to volcanic activity.
After lunch on board and an exciting lecture by one of your experienced nature guides, the Aqua Mare sets course for the small island of Sombrero Chino, which looks like an upside-down hat thanks to its distinctive crater.
Playful sea lions and even Galápagos penguins can often be spotted in the crystal-clear waters surrounding the islands. There is also time for water sports such as snorkeling, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding.
In the evening, enjoy a sundowner on the sun deck as the sun sinks below the horizon. Culinary delights await you with fish in maito leaves, another specialty from the creative kitchen of your onboard chef.

Day 4: Bartolomé Island & Cerro Dragón, Santa Cruz Island
In the early hours of the morning, the Aqua Mare reaches the volcanic island of Bartolomé. Here, a leisurely climb up a cinder cone awaits you – a rewarding hike that is rewarded with a breathtaking panoramic view of the famous Pinnacle Rock, the island's iconic landmark.
Afterwards, refresh yourself with some snorkeling in the turquoise waters. With a little luck, you may share the experience with sea turtles or the nimble Galápagos penguins that are often seen here. Then return on board, where a delicious lunch awaits you as the yacht continues its journey towards Santa Cruz.
In the afternoon, you will discover Cerro Dragón, the "dragon hill," whose name comes from the land iguanas that live here. The barren landscape offers an exciting contrast to the lush vegetation of other islands.
At the end of the day, enjoy a glass of wine on board and indulge in culinary specialties from the region.

Day 5: E Chato Giant Tortoise Reserve & Fausto Llerena Breeding Center, Santa Cruz Island
In the morning, you will visit a nature reserve where you can observe the world-famous Galápagos giant tortoises in their natural habitat. Bird enthusiasts will also get their money's worth here: the region is home to Darwin's finches, yellow-billed curassows, flycatchers, cattle egrets, and the shy Galápagos rail.
After lunch on board, we continue to the Charles Darwin Research Station and the adjacent National Park Center. At the Fausto Llerena Breeding Center, you will gain fascinating insights into the breeding of giant tortoises. The various animals are cared for separately here according to their island of origin – from the early stages of life to their later release into the wild.
In the late afternoon, you will have free time to stroll through Puerto Ayora, browse for souvenirs in small shops, or enjoy the view of the harbor with a cup of coffee—whatever takes your fancy.

Day 6: Punta Suárez, Gardner Bay & Osborn Islet, Española Island
Start your day with a guided meditation on the upper deck, accompanied by the soft light of dawn. Afterwards, set off on an excursion to Punta Suárez on Española Island, one of the most spectacular places in the entire archipelago. This region impresses with its wealth of endemic species: here you will encounter the Española mockingbird, lava lizards, marine iguanas, and the majestic Galápagos albatross, which nests exclusively on this island.
In the afternoon, take the dinghy out to a small group of islands where you can snorkel among curious sea lions and colorful reef fish.
To round off your trip, visit picturesque Bahía Gardner, a beautiful beach with fine coral sand. It is home to one of the largest sea lion colonies in the Galápagos Islands.
Day 7: Santa Fe Island & Plaza Sur Island
After a night at sea, you will reach Santa Fe Island in the morning, one of the geologically oldest land masses in the Galápagos archipelago. The landscape is characterized by Palo Santo trees, prickly pears, and other endemic plants, making it a paradise for nature lovers. With a little luck, you may encounter land iguanas, lava lizards, mockingbirds, and various Darwin's finches here.
After the hike, you will have time to actively explore the aquatic world around the island—whether snorkeling, kayaking, or stand-up paddleboarding along the rocky coastline.
Back on board, enjoy a delicious lunch while the Aqua Mare sets course for Plaza Sur, a small island off the east coast of Santa Cruz. In the afternoon , you will go ashore and take a guided hike lasting around two hours. You will see impressiverock formations, colorful vegetation, and an astonishing variety of wildlife in a very small area.
End the evening in a relaxed atmosphere as the breathtaking starry sky of the archipelago unfolds above you and you look back on the day's impressions together with your fellow travelers.

Day 8: Los Gemelos, Santa Cruz Island & Disembarkation
You will begin your final day with a luxurious breakfast before saying goodbye to the Aqua Mare team. Your last visit before leaving the natural paradise of the eastern Galápagos is a detour to the highlands of Santa Cruz Island to see the twin craters of Los Gemelos on your way to the airport. It is a remarkable place, surrounded by lush vegetation. Memories of this final adventure will accompany you during your transfer to Baltra Island. From there, you will board your flight back to the mainland and continue your journey home.

Snorkeling & Diving
Snorkeling is a wonderful way to experience the incredible biodiversity of the waters around the Galapagos Islands up close. Many snorkeling spots in the archipelago are characterized by shallow, calm waters that are popular with marine animals. Similar to the land animals of the Galapagos, the underwater inhabitants are not afraid of humans – which makes every marine expedition a very special experience. Look forward to playful sea lions and gentle sea turtles swimming harmoniously alongside you.
Each guest receives their own snorkeling equipment on board—consisting of a mask, snorkel, fins, and wetsuit—which is available for use throughout the trip. Some of the best snorkeling spots in the Galápagos Islands include:
