Explorers Suite:

There are a total of 6 suites, each measuring 42m². All have a magnificent view of the Paine Massif. The suites have one extra-large double bed and rooms can be connected for families*.

Salto Chico room:

The 7 Salto Chico rooms are 28m² in size and overlook the Salto Chico waterfall. Here you have an extra-large double bed or two single beds.

Cordillera Paine Room:

The 36 Cordillera Paine rooms are 28 m² in size and offer views of the Paine massif. The rooms feature an extra-large double bed or two single beds. Connecting rooms are available for families.

The Explora Hotel Patagonia is the only hotel in the area with its own horses, which are specially bred and trained for guests' horseback expeditions. The 26 horses of various breeds and crossbreeds were bred on the Ibáñez family estate in Chile's Central Valley. A team led by Gaela Hourcq, equine veterinarian and horse specialist, is responsible for their care.

Located 53 km from the hotel, on the Dos de Enero ranch, a 6,000-hectare property, the Quincho is the starting point for some of the horseback rides. From October to April, weather permitting, it also hosts one of Patagonia's most typical gastronomic activities: lamb roasted on a spit. Here you will learn about the legendary gaucho culture.

Hiking in Torres del Paine National Park 

The Torres del Paine National Park area is known for its rivers, lakes, mountains, and glaciers. There are many different ways to explore it, and each route offers a unique experience and adventure.  The Explora Hotel Patagonia offers over 40 excursions on foot, horseback, or by minibus. The tours are accompanied by knowledgeable bilingual guides (English/Spanish). The maximum group size is eight travelers. The hikes vary in length and difficulty.

• Hike to Mirador Pehoé with beautiful views of Lake Pehoé
• Hike at Lago Grey with views of glaciers and icebergs and crossing a suspension bridge over the Río Pingo
• Hike in the Serrano grasslands along the course of the Río Serrano with its abundant wildlife. The contrast between the green meadows and the granite towers of the Paine massif is particularly striking.
• Hike along the shore of Lake Pehoé to Mirador Cóndor
• Crossing Lake Pehoé by catamaran towards the Paine Grande refuge, where the trek in the Valle del Francés begins.
• Horseback ride across rivers, through forests and grassy steppes, uphill to the Laguna Negra viewpoint
• Horseback ride through the Pampa Serrano, with the Paine massif behind you, along Lago del Toro
• High mountain tour to the summit of Cerro Castillo
• Overland tours by minibus to observe typical animals of the Patagonian steppe such as guanacos, pumas, and flamingos, and visit various attractions and viewpoints.
