Hans Hansson
Small expedition ship for big adventures
The Hans Hansson is a highly experienced expedition vessel and provides safe accommodation even in extreme weather conditions.
Her career began as a Norwegian sea rescue cruiser before she was taken over by the Swedish Sea Rescue Service and eventually specialized in exploring remote regions of the world.
Thanks to its robust hull, originally designed for the harsh conditions of the North Sea, it is ideal for demanding expeditions to Antarctica. Fromits deck, you can observe majestic whales and photograph impressive icebergs up close.
Despite its stability and resilience, the Hans Hansson is small and maneuverable enough to navigate into remote bays and narrow passages that are inaccessible to larger vessels.
With a length of 26 meters, it can accommodate a maximum of 12 passengers, guaranteeing a peaceful and personal expedition through the impressive wilderness of Antarctica. This allows you to enjoy the silence and vastness of the ice in a small group, leaving hardly any traces in nature.
