I always have to smile when tour operators tell me that from now on—for the sake of the environment, of course 😉—they will be sending travel documents by email. Generally speaking, it's a good idea with a noble ulterior motive.

Unfortunately, these are the same organizers from whom I receive colorful A4 travel offers sealed in plastic by mail a week later. So when it comes to self-promotion, the environment isn't that important? Boom. Credibility goes out the window, and it immediately becomes clear that this tour operator would rather invest in advertising for new bookings than in existing customers and current bookings.

A personal and individualized cover letter, a nice luggage tag, information about the destination, maybe a city map? No chance. They don't want to go to that much trouble for their valuable customers.

In addition, customers who have booked a trip are naturally expected to print out their travel documents themselves—only now they have to bear the (printing) costs themselves.

Proper crafting instructions are provided, requiring travelers to painstakingly craft luggage tags from paper templates using scissors and glue. In most cases, these luggage tags have already fallen off or been torn off before the suitcase even reaches the airport.

Sustainable customer relationships through attentiveness and good service are probably not a high priority in these companies.

Travel better. Travel with inventia.

Together with my wonderful graphic designer, I have now produced my own ticket folders for inventia. My guests (as I call my customers) are not numbers and deserve much more than the standard.

Ta-da—here are my wonderful new ticket holders!

I am very proud and think they turned out great. The guests who received their personal travel documents last week have already given me enthusiastic feedback. That makes me even happier.

And then, of course, there are the eye-catching inventia luggage tags, which make your baggage stand out on every baggage carousel in the world. From now on, mix-ups are a thing of the past.

Only the best for my guests.

Travel better. Travel with inventia.
