MS Villa
The intimate expedition ship for the Arctic
The MS Villa is a former reinforced research vessel that was recently converted into a passenger ship. Built for polar environments, it is the ideal ship for expedition cruises. Its high speed, coupled with its robust exterior, makes it the perfect ship for adventures in the pack ice north of Spitsbergen. Manned by a team of experts with decades of experience navigating Arctic waters, it will take you to rarely visited and hard-to-reach areas.
The bridge level features a large viewing area, perfect for admiring Spitsbergen's breathtaking scenery from the warmth of the ship. It has a large dining room, a small library, a wine cellar, and a reading room.
There is accommodation for 12 guests in 6 newly renovated and comfortable cabins, and it is equipped with 2 Zodiacs for landings.
MS Villa operates in the Arctic Circle of the northern hemisphere. It spends spring and summer in Spitsbergen and the Norwegian Arctic, and autumn and winter in the fjords of northern Norway.
The MS Villa expeditions in Spitsbergen start in Longyearbyen, while the expeditions in northern Norway start in Tromsø.
