The Baffin Island base camp can accommodate up to 12 people. You will stay in igloo-shaped tents with large windows overlooking the ice desert of Baffin Island. All igloos have a large double bed that can sleep two people. Washrooms with hot water are available for all guests.

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the main tent. Everything is freshly prepared by the camp chef using selected Canadian specialties. Arctic char, organic beef from Alberta, French-Canadian cheese, wines from the Okanagan Valley, fruit from Ontario, and much more. Bread, yogurt, and desserts are handmade daily at the camp.

The nearest airport is in the settlement of Clyde River on the east coast of Baffin Island. From there, it is only a few minutes' flight by helicopter to the camp.
The Baffin Island base camp is located in a very remote area in the north of Baffin Island.

Basecamp Baffin Island is the perfect starting point for heliskiing tours, which can also last several days. The east coast of Baffin Island offers everything from gigantic glaciers and deep fjords to huge granite rocks. The camp's pilot will take you to the best slopes, where you can leave your tracks surrounded by the beautiful Arctic landscape.

Arctic wildlife and Inuit culture

The area surrounding the camp also offers plenty to see on non-skiing days. The Arctic wildlife is fascinating and awe-inspiring, with polar bears and whales. Inuit traditions are still as vibrant today as they were in the past. You can learn more about them in the settlement of Clyde River.
