Hills and volcanoes with breathtaking views and white beaches perfect for swimming provide the ideal backdrop for a journey far away from Western civilization. The stories told by the friendly locals will transport you to a mystical world of Maoist cultures.

Of course, you will also visit the famous Maoi statues.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to enter Easter Island at the moment!

Entry requirements: German citizens need only a passport (valid for at least 6 months after their return date) to enter Chile.

The trip is not recommended for people with limited mobility.

Discover Easter Island privately and actively

Day 1: Easter Island
Upon arrival on Easter Island, you will be welcomed in traditional style with flower necklaces and transferred to your hotel.

Day 2: Rano Raraku Volcano & Anakena Bay
Today, a full-day excursion to the Rano Raraku volcano with the Moai quarry is on the agenda. In Anakena Bay, with the island's only palm-lined beach, you will then have the opportunity to go swimming. This was the seat of the mystical King Hotu Matua.

Day 3: Rano Kau Volcano & Orongo (approx. ↑↓300 m elevation gain, approx. 4 hours, approx. 5 km)
You will hike towards the Rano Kauvolcano and enjoy fantastic views of the entire island and the volcano's lagoon. You will then arrive at the Orongo ceremonial site, which has the largest collection of petroglyphs in all of Polynesia. The afternoon is at your leisure.

Day 4: Maunga Terevaka Volcano & Ahu Akivi (approx. ↑↓500 m elevation gain, approx. 4 hours, approx. 10 km)
You will drive to the foot of the Maunga Terevaka volcano, where the impressive Moai Ahu Akivi are located. From here, you will hike to the summit of the extinct volcano. This is followed by a descent to a former sheep farm.

A transfer will take you back to the airport.
