Elewana The Manor at Ngorongoro | Ngorongoro Highlands, Tanzania

Tanzania, Africa

Below the savannah and green hills of the Ngorongoro Crater, The Manor at Ngorongoro rises majestically amid one of the oldest Arabica coffee plantations of Dutch origin, covering over 6 square kilometers. The classic Cape Dutch architecture pays homage to the area's long history.

The Manor's location is ideal for exploring the crater and Lake Manyara National Park (famous for its flamingos). The Manor will organize a unique, elegant lunch on the crater floor just for you, which you should not miss.

The Manor at Ngorongoro, with its luxurious cottages and magnificent main house, transports you back to the Grand Old Days: think cigars and brandy, elegant fine dining, and post-dinner snooker.

The Manor at Ngorongoro is one of the most spacious and generous facilities during our SkySafari (click).

The rooms are cottage suites scattered throughout the well-kept garden. Each suite has a small lounge, a fireplace, and large bathrooms. There is nothing better than coming home after a safari and taking a long bubble bath in your Victorian bathtub.

Or you can take part in one of the special picnics and sundowners on the grounds. If you want to learn more about Tanzania's famous coffee trade, join the tour of the coffee plantation.

Perhaps you would prefer to visit the spa or swim a few laps in the swimming pool.

You can also find the greatest happiness on earth here on horseback: Manor offers horseback rides across the grounds and the coffee plantation.
