The Northern Lights Resort in Pyhä is one of our most exceptional aurora villages and is particularly popular with couples, friends, and families. Opened in December 2023, the resort offers four different accommodation options, each providing a unique experience.
Here, you don't have to wait outside in the freezing cold for the Northern Lights. The comfortable Aurora Chalets, Aurora Suites, and Sky View Suites with glass roofs offer an unobstructed view of the dancing Northern Lights in the sky while you lie comfortably in your bed. The Taiga Forest Cabins can accommodate a larger group of up to 6 people and are nestled in the forest.
Far away from any light pollution, the location offers ideal conditions for observing the Northern Lights. During the day, you can experience the untouched Arctic nature with exciting activities such as husky sledding and snowmobile tours, reindeer visits, and snowshoe hikes—all activities start right at the resort.

Husky safaris:During the husky safari, guests steer the dog sleds themselves. As a rule, two people share a husky team and take turns driving halfway through the journey.

Sauna and Jacuzzi The resort offers a traditional sauna, a panoramic igloo sauna, a hot tub, and exciting ice hole diving for the adventurous.
