This boutique lodge, lovingly run by its owners, is located on a long fjord, about 1.5 hours from Tromsø. Up here, about 350 km north of the Arctic Circle, surrounded by the fjords of northern Norway and the Lyngen Alps, you will find the perfect setting for exciting winter activities in a well-maintained environment, far away from the crowds.
The boutique lodge's eight double and twin rooms are very comfortably furnished, and some even have a view of the fjord. There is, of course, a sauna, and the outdoor jacuzzi in deep snow with a view of the fjord and the North Norwegian Alps is a special experience.

The head of the house is a gifted chef. His varied creations made from regional and natural ingredients will delight you every day. Breakfast, lunch (sometimes also on the go around the campfire), and a multi-course menu (or buffet) in the evening are included.

Bar and alcohol
The lodge has a license to sell and serve alcohol. According to Norwegian law, it is not permitted to consume "duty-free" alcohol in the public areas of the lodge (only in the rooms). Bar bills, laundry, and purchases in shops can be charged to your room bill and paid for at check-out.

Day 1: Arrival
Your hosts will pick you up at Tromsø Airport or in Tromsø city center and take you to your fjord adventure. The transfer takes approximately 1.5 hours.
After check-in, you will have free time to explore the fjord shore or relax in your lodge's outdoor hot tub.
In the evening, enjoy your first dinner. The chef's imaginative creations will delight you.
Day 2: Husky Safari
In the morning, enjoy a delicious breakfast.
On this first day of your stay, you will experience an unforgettable dog sled tour in the Reisa Valley.
Beautiful landscapes accompany you on your way to the national park.
Upon arrival, you will meet the tour guides and the dogs. Despite their strength, the dogs are very social and friendly to everyone they get to share their experience with.
After a presentation by the guides about the dogs, how to prepare your sled for such a trip, and the necessary safety information, the trip begins. Here, two guests share a sled and take turns steering. You will ride on the sled for a total of 90 minutes.
Halfway there, you will stop and recharge your batteries with a warm and refreshing lunch prepared over a campfire.
After returning to the meeting point for this tour, you will be accompanied back to the Boutique Lodge.
Relax for the rest of the day after your fast-paced adventure and enjoy your delicious and creatively prepared dinner.
Day 3: Frozen Lake Adventure
After breakfast, explore the high mountain terrain behind the lodge on a snowmobile (you won't be driving yourself, but will be driven in a closed trailer pulled by a snowmobile). Spectacular viewpoints await you!
After arriving on the mountain plateau following a 30-minute drive through beautiful birch forests, you can go snowshoeing on the frozen lake and/or ice fish for mountain trout (if the ice is thick enough). If you are successful, your catch will be cooked and eaten right there by the campfire.
Between snowshoe hikes and ice fishing, you also have the option of exploring the surrounding area by snowmobile.
After returning to the Fjord Lodge, enjoy the rest of the afternoon in front of the fireplace or relax in the sauna or outdoor jacuzzi until dinner.
Day 4: Departure
Today, your adventure in the Arctic fjord is already over.
After breakfast, you will be taken back to the airport or Tromsø city.

Day 4: Cross-country skiing or snowshoe hike or sea safari (whale watching safari)
On this day, after a refreshing breakfast, you can choose one of three activities:
1. Your first option iscross-country skiing. The Djupvik, Rotsund, or Storslett landscapes are available for this activity. After traveling to your chosen location, experienced guides will show you how to get the most out of your trip.
2. Another option is a snowshoe hike directly from the lodge through the frozen forests of the surrounding area. The focus here is not only on learning how to hike with snowshoes, but also on gaining a deeper understanding of the environment through historical and natural history lectures given by the guide. Here, too, you will encounter breathtaking viewpoints and perhaps see the tracks of moose, lynx, or even wolves along the way.
3. (February only) This "sea safari" will give you an insight into life on Norway's largest fjord. You will go dolphin watching in one of the national parks in the area and then visit and learn about the traditional stockfish drying process on the island of Uløya. This is followed by another boat trip to breathtaking locations such as an ice cave and sloping cliffs on the east coast of the Lyngen Alps. You may be accompanied on the trip by Europe's largest eagle as it hunts for fish. Whale watching safaris are available from November to the end of January.
(The "Sea Safari" is only offered in February and the "Whale Watching Safari" from November to the end of January at an additional cost of €236).
