Attention solo travelers: If you do not wish to have a single cabin, accommodation on board is possible in shared cabins. In this case, you will be accommodated with other travelers of the same gender and possibly of a different nationality. There are no single cabin surcharges.

Fly&Cruise Classic Antarctica
Day 1: Start of the flight
Arrival in Punta Arenas, Chile, before 2:00 p.m. There you will be greeted by staff and taken to your hotel. In the afternoon, you will be welcomed at Explorers House to attend a mandatory briefing. This will provide important information about your air cruise and explain the essential guidelines for visitors to Antarctica. Afterwards, you will meet for a welcome dinner where you can get to know your fellow travelers and enjoy a typical regional menu.
Day 2: Charter flight to Antarctica
Your two-hour flight takes you to King George Island in the South Shetland Islands. As you leave the plane, you breathe in the clear Antarctic air for the first time. You board a transfer vehicle and pass the Chilean Frei Station and the Russian Bellingshausen Station to reach the coast. There you board a Zodiac boat that takes you to your boutique expedition ship.
Days 3-6: Exploring Antarctica
Cruise between the South Shetland Islands and the west coast of the Antarctic Peninsula. You will sail through ice-filled fjords and between spectacular icebergs while observing seabirds, penguins, seals, and whales. Every day, you will disembark in Zodiacs to explore the landscape together with experienced polar guides.
A varied program of informative lectures awaits you on board the ship, and you can enjoy spectacular views from the lounge and share your daily adventures with other guests.
Every voyage is unique, as flexibility is key to success in Antarctica. The expedition team plans the itinerary to take full advantage of nature's ever-changing possibilities, ensuring a unique and extraordinary experience. While the exact route varies with each expedition, you will visit several locations that provide a comprehensive insight into the diverse Antarctic environment. Your journey may include visits to locations in the South Shetland Islands, Antarctic Sound, Gerlache Strait, and Penola Strait.
Day 7: Return flight from Antarctica
Return to King George Island and bid farewell to Antarctica before boarding your flight back to Punta Arenas. Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel for the night.
Day 8: End of the flight
After breakfast, transfer to Punta Arenas Airport for your connecting flight.
The daily programs described here are for your guidance. The itinerary may vary considerably due to local ice and weather conditions, last-minute permit procedures, and local authorities, but also to respond to current conditions regarding wildlife viewing.Theexpedition leader on board will determine the final itinerary and daily program. Flexibility is of utmost importance during our expedition-style voyages.

SEA KAYAKING
Kayaking is one of the most beautiful ways to explore the Antarctic coastline. Under the guidance of an experienced kayak guide, you can explore even less frequented regions. Paddle between icebergs and pack ice and observe animals in their natural environment. Water dripping from your paddle – this is the only sound you will hear here. Kayaking in polar regions allows you to experience the untouched wilderness in a very special way.
In addition, the kayaking program is limited to a maximum of 20 participants to ensure personal attention. Prior kayaking experience and swimming skills are required to participate. The minimum age for participation is 15 years.
Kayaking is subject to weather and ice conditions, which may affect the itinerary.
SNOWSHOE HIKING
Take part in exciting hiking and snowshoeing excursions that offer an intense experience of the Antarctic wilderness. These excursions take place in small groups led by an experienced hiking and snowshoeing guide.
Snowshoeing does not require any special prior knowledge, but you do need to be in good health. Participants must be at least 15 years old. It is an exciting way to explore the polar world!

- 2 nights in Punta Arenas (Hotel Cabo de Hornos or similar) including breakfast: 1st night on the day of arrival, 2nd night on the day of departure from Antarctica
