Expedition ships by size
Size does matter!
Or rather, the small size. With small, agile expedition ships, you can reach regions that are inaccessible to large ships. In addition, Antarctic protection regulations do not allow more than 100 people (120 people are still allowed) to leave the ship at the same time. On a ship with 200 people, your time on Zodiac excursions and landings is halved. You also receive more attention when eating and visiting the captain on the bridge if there are fewer people on the ship. Ships with more than 500 people are not permitted to travel to Antarctica.
